How does the Chicken Shredder Twist™ work?
Cook your meat first and cut larger pieces into smaller portions. Place them inside the shredder, close the lid and twist the handles back and forth. The internal teeth grab and separate the meat as you twist.
Can I control how finely the meat is shredded?
Yes. The transparent lid allows you to watch the texture while shredding. Twist fewer times for larger pieces or continue twisting for finer shreds.
What meats can I use it with?
It's designed for suitable cooked chicken, pork and beef and is especially useful for tacos, enchiladas, sandwiches, salads, casseroles, BBQ recipes and weekly meal prep.
Can I put raw chicken inside?
No. The meat should be cooked before shredding. Raw meat is not recommended and could damage the internal shredding spikes.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. The product is made from BPA-free, food-grade material and is dishwasher safe. A cleaning brush is also included for convenient hand washing.
